The Senior Product Line Manager (PLM), Protein Fortification is responsible for managing end-to-end product processes and performing business analyses designed to improve decision-making and contribute to the growth and profitability of the emerging Protein Fortification business.
As Senior Manager, you report to the Vice President & General Manager, Protein Fortification and have significant cross-functional and global interaction. This role is a partner to Sales & Marketing. The Senior Manager will partner with new product introduction teams to improve and standardize the new product introduction process, and work across various functions to ensure the Protein Fortification business priorities and support needs are met. This includes working with finance, sales, marketing, quality, supply chain, and innovation to ensure tactical execution from each functions aligns with business goals and objectives.

Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.

Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for executing and optimizing end-to-end processes for new and existing Protein Fortification products both domestically and globally. This requires cross-functional communication, alignment, and timely delivery of specific actions.
- Conduct competitive landscape and cost utilization analyses by leveraging data gathered through continuous monitoring of both internal and external events. This includes tracking import/export product data and utilizing intelligence from various sources to gain a deeper understanding of competitive cost structures
- Build, in collaboration with supply chain, a robust and adaptable process for identifying cost reduction and efficiency improvements across the supply chain network. In addition, continue to optimize the S&OP process and system outputs to meet the evolving needs of the Protein Fortification business by partnering with internal supply chain support resources
- In collaboration with Quality, build a comprehensive testing and quality control plan to stay ahead of business needs evaluating key decisions such as in-sourcing of testing, specification setting and changes, raw material needs, etc
- Responsible for collaborating with SME’s in the requisite functions to ensure the content and external presentation of Protein Fortification products to the market including but not limited to presentation of samples, sample and product label content, SDS, technical bulletins, specifications, COA content and packaging align with business and market needs.
- Oversee the successful creation and execution of S&OP and S&OE processes with Supply Chain. Own the detailed demand planning process in tandem with sales and supply chain
- Design and manage targeted research projects which includes identifying data sources, collecting from various sources, analyzing information using one or more quantitative techniques, and ultimately deriving strategic insights from the data
- Lead the global channel management process, working cross-functionally to consolidate data and be able to effectively communicate actions and recommendations to regional teams. Engage in and support specific projects aimed at enhancing market share knowledge. Provide analytical support for strategic marketing to aid in the creation of multi-year strategies and annual operating plans. This involves producing detailed market assessments that identify emerging trends in external markets, and financial aspects for each product line.
- Contributing to overall growth objectives/goals based on subject matter knowledge and organizational strategic issues
- Understanding performance drivers and identifying complex market strategy/product line issues. Develops recommendations to address problems/issues
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience with background in marketing, finance, or technical field
- Work experience in fast-moving, get it done and dynamic work environments. Functional experience in or knowledge of sales, marketing, product management, quality, operations, innovation, supply chain or finance. Prior experience launching new products is highly valuable.
- English fluency, both written and spoken
- Highly analytical; high proficiency in excel and PowerPoint
- Partner with finance to support modeling various scenarios related to product line costing and profitability, P&L outcomes, business case scenarios and the drivers that impact the outcomes
- Comfortable making decisions without “all the facts” or “Capable of making informed decisions even in the absence of complete information”
- Independent, self-managed, self-starter
- Work effectively across functions advocating for business goals and needs while effectively collaborating with functional leadership.
