Title: Senior Supply Chain Assistant

Location: North Kansas City OR Indianapolis, IN Plant

Reports To: Corn Purchasing Manager

Workplace Type: Onsite

The Senior Supply Chain Assistant is an important individual who will manage relationships with growers, coordinate logistics of delivery to the plant, as well as work on corn pricings and process supplier payments. In addition, this individual will act as a key contact between Ingredion and its raw material suppliers.

Your Role Will Be

• Coordinate corn delivery to the Plant and 3rd party storage to meet requirements.
• Monitor corn inventory to assure adequate supply and quality to meet plant grind demand.
• Manage NGM bin testing program to support TrueTrace program.
• Process corn receipts and payments to corn suppliers.
• Verify and process for payment vendor invoices for storage, freight, checkoff fees, etc. for corn handling.
• Post supplier corn pricing contracts into Agtech.
• Manage grower contracts, settlements and vendor maintenance via BUSHEL application.
• Hedge supplier pricings and communicate daily activity to hedge desk.
• Process supplier payments for corn.
• Reconcile inventory at 3rd party storage facilities.
• Develop and cultivate relationships with Farmer/Producers providing corn to Ingredion, as well as plant personnel receiving raw materials.
• Provide customer service between suppliers and accounts payable.
• Maintain historic records of financial transactions for internal and external auditing purposes.

Your Profile Needs These Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a business or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Understanding of the U.S Grain and Agricultural industry is preferred
• Knowledge of Commodity Futures Market is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft office. Knowledge with SAP and Agtech a plus

Pay Range

$58,160.00-$77,546.67 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
