Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead the development and commercialization of customized solutions in the United States and Canada.
Main Tasks:
- Develop a high-performance technical organization that fosters innovation and growth.
- Support the execution of business strategies by building technical capabilities for growth.
- Spearhead technology development and commercialization of customized formulations for customers and market needs within the United States and Canada.
- Provide prioritization and guidance on technical project plans to achieve key milestones with agility and deliver successful solutions to customers.
Key Requirements
- BS degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of product development experience in formulating and process optimization.
- Broad food ingredient knowledge in terms of Starches, Hydrocolloids, Proteins, Sweeteners as well as the impact that processing plays in optimizing the usage and selection of each of these ingredients.
- Significant experience in People Management, Project Management with experience in projects that required Legal, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply chain constraints.
- Strong innovative and creative thinker with the ability to interpret scientific data, including sensory and analytical, and provide guidance on its impact to the customer and industry.
- Strong experience in leadership and managerial skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop talent within team and translate strategy into clear objectives and deliverables.
