About This Opportunity
There are two main Go-To-Market (GTM) Divisions within Inhabit: Residential and Short-Term Rental (STR). While these divisions operate whithin their respective go-to-markets, there is cross-division collaboration and alignment when it comes to key business processes, best practices, and marketing operations standard operating procedures and definitions. A Marketing Lead within this organization is a senior-level individual contributor (IC) with strong general experience in campaign planning and marketing that can be applied to our stated ecosystems.
Job Description Summary
A Marketing Lead will report directly to a Director level manager within the Residential or STR Division with opportunities existing in the PropTech, FinTech, Professional Services and InsurTech portions of the organization. The Marketing Lead will be responsible for the short-term strategy, planning, and execution of integrated multi-channel marketing activities within the Business-to-Business (B2B) Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) space. The Marketing Lead does not have direct reports but is expected to have high emotional intelligence and be able to ‘lead from his or her seat’ to influence peers at various levels ranging from senior to junior to help elevate the combined production value and results of the team. The Marketing Lead balances and actively participates in planning and execution. A typical day could include ideating a campaign theme, planning the next quarter, reporting on leads for the month, and/or drafting a marketing email are representative of the range of tasks a Marketing Lead might engage in.

What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
- Working with their manager to facilitate the short-term (within a 6-month window) planning, strategy, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns
- Actively participate in, support, and collaborate around the curation, creation, publication, optimization and reporting on marketing activities such as long-form and short-form content across email, social, web, blogs, eBooks, webinars, paid ads, print, and tradeshows
- Collaborate with their manager on long-term planning (more than 6 months out)
- Collaborate with Content Creators, Graphic Designers, Web Developers, Email Specialists, Event Managers/Coordinators on executing multiple campaigns concurrently
- As needed, provide more junior-level teammates feedback to assist the overall quality of the marketing product and provide coaching/mentoring
- Help review/approve marketing assets before finalizing
- Help with internal communications with Sales and Operations
- Achieve/exceed all assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), and Total Contract Value (TCV)
- Assist manager with proactively generating reports, adding additional insight and analysis to help formulate commentary, recommendations, corrective actions, or optimizations for all marketing activities
- Works directly with General Managers, Sales, Account Management, Product and Operations on projects identified as priorities for the team
- Collaborates with and is Consulted by Graphic Design, Web Development and Search Engine Marketing Teammates
- Informing and being Informed by broader Inhabit Marketing Teammate, HR, Finance, and IT as needed
What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)
- 7 years of general marketing experience required
- Exceptional project management, time management, creative thinking, written and oral communication skills.
- Strong professionalism, emotional intelligence and team orientation is required.
- Excellent understanding of marketing campaign management including the lead generation and engagement process at various stages of the marketing funnel
- Expert with grammar and syntax, understanding how to use voice and tone to match brand, marketing channel, and key target customers.
- Demonstrated brand management experience including defining, implementing and policing brand standards
- Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity but with the ability to clarify needs to advance projects
- Enjoys taking ownership of projects
- While the role requires self-sufficiency, a strong team player who values collaboration and teamwork is still required as position will interact regularly with the broader Inhabit Marketing Team
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Comfortable with Adobe Creative Suite especially writing content in programs like InDesign and Illustrator
- Experience accessing WordPress, Salesforce and Marketo is an advantage
- Experience with Insurance Marketing, Residential/Multifamily Marketing or Short-Term Rental Marketing are strong advantages.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or similar.
