Job Description
As a Project Manager in the Global PMO with Inhabit, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of a project from inception to completion, while leading diverse teams, managing stakeholder expectations and remaining aligned with the strategy, commitments and goals of the organization. The role requires a unique blend of people management skills, project management expertise and attention to detail.
What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
- Support Inhabit’s key initiatives through coordinating and driving project plans / schedules across multiple business units and departments.
- Lead project from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations and implementation plans, including risk management.
- Schedule and facilitate weekly meetings with team members to discuss updates and ensure target dates and deliverables are completed on time.
- Compose status memos and create Gantt charts depicting the results from each project update meeting, distribute to the team and stakeholders, and upload documents to SharePoint.
- Identify the need for additional action and/or working meetings with appropriate team members to continue pushing for forward movement of the project.
- Respond to project inquires and assist team members.
- Track project expenses, identify cost variances, and take corrective actions.
- Motivate and drive the project team to achieve project objectives .
What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)
- Two or more years of project management experience working with distributed groups in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook/Teams, SharePoint), Adobe Acrobat and Asana.
- Previous Project Success Method (PSI) experience a plus.
- Skilled in multiple project management methodologies including ASPIRE, Agile, and traditional Waterfall.
- Effective presentation skills for delivery to all levels of the organization including project teams, business users, stakeholders and senior level executives.
- Adept at leading and motivating teams, facilitating collaboration and managing diverse personalities.
- Ability to align communication to various levels of the organization, including project teams, business users, stakeholders and senior level executives.
- Inclined to take initiative to identify and address problems as they are discovered.
- Effectively able to balance multiple projects of various levels of complexity and priorities with many tasks and varying number of resources.
- Experience identifying and tracking project risks/issues to develop mitigation plans early in the project to maintain project scope and on-time delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of organization.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills to main control of projects.
- Strong attention to details and deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
