Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
Shift: Overnight (Awake)

Compensation: $20-$22/hr

Position Summary:

inHom Senior Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Awake Overnight Caregivers to provide safety, companionship, and hands-on assistance for seniors in their homes during nighttime hours. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being and security of our clients while allowing family members peace of mind. The caregiver must remain awake and alert throughout the shift to provide support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure client safety throughout the night, assisting as needed.

• Provide companionship and reassurance to clients who may experience restlessness, anxiety, or confusion at night.

• Assist with personal care needs, including toileting, incontinence care, repositioning, and mobility assistance.

• Help with medication reminders (if applicable per care plan).

• Respond to client needs, such as helping with hydration, adjusting bedding, or providing comfort care.

• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up, washing dishes, or laundry, as needed.

• Document and report any changes in client condition, behavior, or environment.

• Follow the client’s personalized care plan and company policies to ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a caregiver, CNA, or HHA preferred but not required (training available).

• Ability to remain awake and alert throughout the entire shift.

• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to seniors' needs.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, transferring, and repositioning clients.

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow care instructions.

• Must pass a background check and meet state caregiving requirements.

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (preferred).
