Lead Caregiver (Full-Time)

Location: Burnsville, MN and surrounding communities
Pay: $25.00/hour Overtime & Holiday Pay (Time and a Half)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Mileage Reimbursement: Paid at the Current IRS Rate

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Full-Time Lead Caregiver to join our team. As a Lead Caregiver, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our caregivers, ensuring quality care for our clients, and upholding the values of personalized, relationship-based care.

This role is supervised by the Director of Human Resources and requires flexibility, leadership, and a passion for helping others thrive in the comfort of their own homes.

What You’ll Do

Primary Responsibilities:

• Be ready to start your day at 7:00 AM.
• Step in for open shifts as directed by the Service Coordinator (e.g., covering call-offs).
• Assist with starting care for new clients, train caregivers, and transition care plans to assigned team members.
• Conduct introductions and orientations for caregivers meeting new clients.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Mentor and support new caregivers under the direction of the Director of Human Resources.
• Provide training, guidance, and encouragement to ensure a smooth start for new Caregiver team members.
• Document all activities and visits as required.

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform Quality Assurance Visits as directed by the Client Care Team.
• Drop off necessary supplies (forms, gloves, etc.) to clients' homes.
• Accurately document client visits and care activities.

What We’re Looking For

• MUST be Available to work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Willingness to assist with longer assignments or live-in shifts for a few days to help start new clients (not required but helpful).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• A compassionate, caring, and dependable professional who thrives in a team-oriented environment.
