Certification Details BLS ACLS PALS Job Details Variable work times. 4x10hr shifts. Could be 0800-1830, 0830-1900, or 0900-1930 Requesting Perianesthesia nurse. The responsibilities are to care for patients that are going to have or have had a surgical procedure under anesthesia. This care would include : pre-operative assessment, post-anesthesia recovery, ambulatory surgical care and pain management. Job Requirements Current Indiana RN license BLS certification ACLS certification PALS certification Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start License / Certificate Verification within 30 days prior to start Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam required prior to start and updated every 3 years thereafter Completed Ascension Color Vision prior to start and updated every 3 years HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics completed within a year of start updated yearly NIH Certification updated yearly Ascension EKG Exam completed prior to start Ascension Skills Checklist to be completed within one year of start; updated annually for specialty. Schedule Information 4x10hr shifts Variable work times Unit Specific Information Perianesthesia unit specifics apply. Additional Details Must be AHA certified for BLS and ACLS Documentation of vaccination series completion or declination to vaccine required Flu season is October 1, 2024 through March 31, 2025.
