IGS is currently recruiting for a remote BI Developer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs.
This position is pending contract award, applicants will be reviewed post-award.
Assignment of Work and Travel :
This is a remote access assignment. Candidates will work remotely daily and will remotely access VA systems and therein use approved VA provided communications systems. Travel is not required; however, the candidate may be required to attend onsite client meetings as requested.
Responsibilities and Duties (Included but not limited to) :
- Develop and maintain data from the data warehouse, either in the form of relational data or OLAP cubes, to assess the feasibility of leveraging the PowerBI suite of tools for internal business intelligence reporting needs
- Apply?development skills to write complex queries involving multiple tables, develop and maintain stored procedures, user defined functions
- Translate business needs, document technical specifications through communication with internal customers
- Design, build and deploy creative PowerBI visualizations (e.g. reporting tools, applications) with input from the customer
- Conduct unit testing, troubleshooting and performance monitoring and tuning
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
- Collaborate with teams to integrate and migrate systems and system data
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Analyze business requirements and provide solutions
- Develop and maintain data from the corporate data warehouse, either in the form of relational data or OLAP cubes, to assess the feasibility of leveraging the PowerBI suite of tools for internal business intelligence reporting needs
- SQL Server 2014 / 2016, SSIS, SSRS experience
- eCQM (Electronic Clinical Quality Measures) Measure Development experience
- Knowledge of relative eCQM tools to include but not limited to : EHR, HL7, CMS MMS Hub, QDM, MAT, CQL, VSAC, NLM, Bonnie, Jira, and eCQI
- Logical and Physical Data Modelling of Electronic Quality Measure DataMarts using Microsoft Visio
