IGS is currently recruiting for a remote Vice President of Business Development to support IGS.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Business Development to lead our business expansion efforts with specific focus on data analytics, health informatics, cloud migration, and the modernization of federal information systems.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing strategic partnerships. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice President of Business Development will lead the BD team and collaborate closely with cross functional departments to achieve company objectives.
Assignment of Work and Travel :
This is a remote access assignment. Candidates will work remotely daily and will remotely access IGS systems and therein use approved IGS provided communications systems. Travel will be required to attend meetings, conferences, events and any other activities deemed necessary by the CEO.
Responsibilities and Duties (Included but not limited to) :
- Strategic Planning : Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
- Market Analysis : Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and potential opportunities for growth.
- New Business Development : Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Client Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
- Partnership Development : Identify, evaluate, and negotiate strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance our service offerings and market positioning.
- Team Leadership : Provide effective leadership and guidance to the business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Performance Measurement : Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business development activities, evaluate success, and drive continuous improvement.
- Budget Management : Collaborate with finance and executive leadership to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial targets for business development initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, to align business development efforts with company goals and objectives.
- Execute call plans, Teaming Negotiations and capabilities screenings through capture / proposal processes to include full Shipley process with documented AARs.
- Facilitate pipeline mechanic metrics and requirements by moving opportunities through gates on prescribed timelines.
- Dedicate cycles to support recompete opportunities to ensure retention of business and customers in the IGS portfolio.
