Location : This is a fully remote role and can be based anywhere in North America. Working hours are flexible, but east coast hours are preferred.

Position Summary :

Inizio Evoke is seeking an Editor / Senior Editor to join the team. Our editors are key partners to account and creative teams, playing a vital role in the execution of marketing projects for our major pharmaceutical clients. They collaborate closely with both their editorial colleagues—ensuring balanced workloads and mutual support—and the creative team to address feedback and develop effective solutions. This role is fully remote and reports to the Group Editorial Supervisor.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct editorial reviews for all assigned projects (review may require copyediting, cross-checking against a reference piece, fact-checking, data verification, and / or proofreading).
• Organize, prioritize, and manage workloads for multiple projects simultaneously with flexibility and efficiency.
• Edit both print and digital projects, ensuring correct grammar, spelling, usage, and adherence to AMA style, as well as client and internal style guides.
• Collaborate with account, operations, and digital COE teams to ensure processes are efficient and effective.
• Fact-check data and verify the accuracy and appropriateness of claims.
• Develop familiarity with assigned products and client objectives, including product information, visual aids, pivotal trials, journal articles, and related promotional materials.
• Work remotely using Workfront and Box platforms, maintaining effective communication with the team to address issues and ensure successful project completion.
• Maintain editorial style guidance for assigned brands.
• Demonstrate strong grammar, interpersonal, and communication skills. Be responsive to our team’s outreach / communication.
• Have experience editing medical content with proficiency in AMA style.
• Be familiar with Med / Legal Review submission requirements.
• Have familiarity with the requirements of pharma promotion.
• Exhibit a sense of urgency and a positive attitude, combined with an organized and efficient approach to tasks.
• Quickly adapt to new technology; maintain a tech-savvy approach to leveraging our tools for maximum efficiency.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. Compensation : 75,000 — $90,000 USD
