We are currently recruiting for a Director of Ecommerce for one of our clients. Our client is a leader in building technology-enabled business process solutions for industrial producers globally. They develop highly integrated software solutions that increase both the effectiveness and efficiency of customer-facing business processes in a wide range of B2B applications.
Summary
The Director of e-commerce is responsible for defining and implementing e-commerce platform strategy to meet customer needs. Our customers are mostly B2B in the industrial and food ingredients markets globally. You will be responsible for implementing capabilities needed on the Adobe commerce platform to drive customer engagement, growth, and insights. Experience managing development and product management resources and collaborating with the digital marketing team in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
Essential Job Duties
- Manage a team (internal and partner staff) of product managers, designers, and full-stack developers.
- Contribute to developing our e-commerce strategy for the B2B space, identify new opportunities, and create a shared vision throughout the organization to foster agreement on the importance and sequencing of product features.
- Own the B2B's overall e-commerce roadmap and provide stakeholders with visibility.
- Collaborate with client-facing sales teams and digital marketers to drive high levels of customer engagement and capture customer interactions on the platform.
- Integrate commerce orders across storefronts with backend ERP and CRM applications.
- Maintain the integrity of product data, content, and digital assets on the platform.
- Manage platform enhancements and user security in line with corporate policies and best practices.
- Monitor the site for superior customer experiences and respond quickly to any issues that may arise on the site.
- Drive user adoption on the e-commerce platform by working with stakeholders across the organization.
- Perform demos on core capabilities of the platform with clients and prospective clients.
- Listen to client feedback on the e-commerce platform and work to improve the site to meet expectations.
- Encourage a design culture in which customer feedback and user research are included throughout the course of product development.
