ROLE :
We are seeking a SQL / SSIS Senior Developer .
OVERVIEW :
- Seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL developer & data architect
- He / She will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the client's data architecture and database systems for their reporting environment.
- They will be part of an agile team that combines various backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to solve complex problems within cloud and beyond.
- The person will also be required to participate actively in brainstorming sessions for improvement opportunities and take it to completion.
- A suitable candidate should have 9 years of IT experience with at least 7 years of experience working as an SQL developer & Data Architect.
- Experience in life insurance is preferred but not mandatory.

Should be able to work on a problem independently and prepare client-ready deliverables with minimal or no supervision.Excellent communication skills for client interactionApplication development Skillsets :Strong computer science fundamentals such as algorithms, data structures, multithreading, object-oriented development, distributed applications, client-server architecture
Ability to design and implement data processes :Strong SQL and work experience with MS SQL, or UDB.
Strong experience with Stored ProceduresExpand and optimize data pipelines, data flow, and collection for cross-functional teams.Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture by assembling large, complex data sets to meet functional and non-functional business requirements.Ability to quickly pick up and understand where solutions would be appropriate for business applications.Identify and implement internal process improvements including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability.Support the building of data platforms and infrastructure required for optimal data extraction, transformations, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.Work with architecture, data, and design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs.Experience with SSIS and ETL / ELTDesirable skills, but not required :Cloud exposure
Denodo exposureSome Mainframe Development backgroundExperience in web services, streaming and messaging technologies is a plus.Proven ability to optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing and stored procedure optimization.Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and inspire a team.Experience with collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing client and stakeholder expectations.Demonstrated experience with data governance, data security and privacy regulations.CANDIDATE PROFILE :
