General Duties (includes but not limited to):

1. General Cleaning & Sanitation:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, passthroughs, and common areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, including scrubbing, polishing, and ensuring no hazards like spills or debris.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facilities and dispose of waste properly.
  • Record readings and task completion using MaintainX.

2. Specialized Cleaning & Compliance:

  • Follow and enforce cleanroom protocols, ensuring compliance with Work Instructions and cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain sanitation standards according to ISO, OSHA, and company 6S policies to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
  • Assist in contamination control efforts, such as managing air filters, adhesive mats, and other cleanroom procedures.

3. Facility Upkeep & Outdoor Maintenance:

  • Check the exterior of the building for cleanliness and safety concerns, ensuring all entryways and pathways are clear.
  • Perform seasonal maintenance:
    • Winter: Shovel snow, spread ice melt, and ensure sidewalks remain safe.
    • Summer: Remove weeds, pick up trash/debris, and ensure outdoor areas are well maintained.
  • Report and address any issues with facility infrastructure, such as leaks, damaged flooring, or broken fixtures.

4. Inventory & Supplies Management:

  •  Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies (paper products, soaps, disinfectants, etc.)
  • Organize and maintain janitorial closets to ensure efficiency and accessibility of materials.

5. 6S & Safety Participation:

  • Support 6S principles by maintaining an organized and clean work environment.
  • Participate in 6S Team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards, including spills, exposed wiring, or potential tripping hazards.
  • Ensure proper labeling and storage or cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines.

6. Routine & Deep Cleaning Schedule:

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks based on priority and need, including deep cleaning tasks.
  • Ensure cleaning logs and records are maintained for compliance and accountability.

7. Other Duties as Assigned:

  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, or cleaning up after company events.
  • Support emergency cleaning needs (e.g., spills, urgent sanitation concerns).

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Is expected to sit, walk, or stand for 8 hours per day.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally, be able to hear, and have clear and corrected vision for tasks that involve reading, writing, and working with small details.
  • Have physical agility for tasks that involve bending, kneeling, or reaching.
  • Have precise hand-eye coordination for tasks that involve handling small objects, tools, or machinery.
  •  Must be able to lift and/or move 30-80 lbs.
  • Periodic exposure to all outdoor conditions at all times of day and year

 

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of janitorial/custodial experience preferred.
  • 1 year experience in cleanroom setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleanroom standards and cleaning protocol preferred.
  • Familiar with ISO regulated environment; highly regulated industry experience such as medical device, automotive, or aerospace is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SOP’s, Work Instructions, and ISO 13485 standards preferred.
  • Actively performs and understands Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Knowledge of chemical safety preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and their usage preferred.
  • Proficiency with tablets or similar handheld devices is required for accessing various software platforms, including BambooHR, Teams, Outlook, and MaintainX.

 

Certifications (preferred):

  •  OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
  • Certified Custodial Technician (CCT)
  • 6S or Lean Manufacturing Awareness Training
  • Green Cleaning Certification (LEED or ISSA CIMS-GB)

 

Skills:

  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently.
  • Demonstrates strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple deadlines and commitments with little or no supervision, strong time management skills.
  • Detail oriented and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to perform simple math such as addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, measuring and decimal points.
  • Must have strong desire to promote efficiency and continual improvement processes.



Benefits

Immediately Upon Hire:

  • 401K Retirement Plan- Employees are eligible to start contributing to Injectech’s 401K retirement plan the 1st of the month after hire date. Injectech match’s contributions up 6% of employee’s salary. 100% full invested immediately.  Roth and Traditional options available.  
  • Health Insurance- Health insurance starts the 1st of the month after employment of 30 days. Injectech pays 100% of the employee’s portion. Employees will have the option to enroll their spouse, domestic partner, and dependents, that cost will be passed on to the employee through pre-tax payroll deductions.    
  • Dental, Vision and Supplemental Insurance Plans- These plans are offered at a group discount rate to all employees and their spouse, domestic partner, and any dependents.
  • Employee Assistance Program- The EAP is available to all employees and family members. 30 Days after Hire Date       
  • Sick Time- accrues 1 hour for every 30 hours you work up to 48 hours per year.     
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)- accrues 6.66 hours per month for maximum of 80 hours per year. At 36 months accrual rate is 8 hours per month for maximum of 96 hours a year. Accrual rates continue to increase.
  • Holiday Pay- 10 paid holidays.
  • Voluntary Paid Time Off (VTO)- 20 hours paid to volunteer at any 501(c)(3) Nonprofit.    
  • Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance- Injectech fully pays for $50,000 policy for all employees. Additional Life Insurance is offered at the employee’s expense.

6 Months After Hire Date:

  • Profit Share Program- Employees are eligible for our profit share program the month following 6 full months of employment.

 

Drug Testing Policy
