We are a fast-paced personal injury law firm seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is extremely organized, able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a positive, happy personality, experience in handling personal injury cases and possess the skills necessary to effectively manage the following tasks:
Key Responsibilities:
- Ordering, reviewing, and organizing medical records and bills.
- Communicating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and clients.
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents.
- Assisting with case preparation and file management.
- Monitoring deadlines and maintaining detailed case notes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a legal assistant role, within personal injury law or workmans comp.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
