Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to help patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their physical functionality. Your contributions will be vital in assisting patients on their journey towards rehabilitation and enhanced quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities as directed by the supervising therapist.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises, techniques, and home care strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes.
• Ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and properly maintained.
• Support a positive environment that promotes healing and recovery for all patients.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and a commitment to patient care.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques related to physical therapy.
• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
