The INK Manager, Content position combines expertise in content strategy with strong writing ability. Mangers, Content, at INK work with complex topics in technology, clean energy, economics, vertical industries, and current events to develop expert-level, thought-provoking content strategies and supporting collateral.
- Develops strategic deliverables, including messaging, positioning, editorial calendars, white papers, case studies, website and digital copythat support marketing and communications programs.
- Works across account, design, digital, and comms teams to achieve meaningful results for clients
- Solves problems, challenges and roadblocks to keep content strategies moving forward across client accounts.
- Writes in the voice of an executive and/or brand with a strong point of view across multiple channels and formats.
- Works collaboratively with content team peers, editing and providing feedback to improve each others’ work and skillsets.
- Demonstrates confidence in day-to-day work, such as recommendations to clients and team members, presentation skills, decision-making and work quality.
- Practice INK's motto of "be there before," staying ahead of industry and content marketing trends, anticipating client needs and opportunities, and shares insights generously with teams and clients.
- Embodies INK values and culture, and commits to employee development through day-to-day coaching and regular check-ins.
- Sits on the content team and will report to INK's directors and VP-level executives
- Performs other related duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7 years progressive content marketing experience
- Experience in B2B, tech, and/or renewable energy industries preferred
- Experience in an agency or similar setting
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including AP style
- Solutions oriented and flexible with problem solving mindset
- Ability to organize and manage multiple client responsibilities while applying strict attention to detail
- Ability to learn and understand client industries and complex, technical topics
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Exposure or experience in project budgeting and resource management
