Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the engineering department, ensuring alignment with the company's vision, mission, and goals.
- Drive enhancements to current internal engineering structures and processes, fortifying their effectiveness and identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Effectively manage resources, budgets, and timelines to meet project goals and financial targets.
- Document and manage both a technological roadmap and the product roadmap balancing the timing requirements of these deliverables with our development capacity.
- Implement and maintain QA testing processes and application rigor to ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Drive innovation and technological advancement by staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Establish and nurture technology partnerships, manufacturing alliances, and a development contracting network that allows R&D to scale with new product developments and launches without adding permanent, fixed costs.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering. MS or MBA a plus.
- 10 years of experience in engineering roles with a strong track record of successful product development.
- A proven background in handling electromechanical capital equipment.
- Strong project management skills, revealing the ability to methodically plan, prioritize, and delegate tasks, ensuring the streamlined execution of projects.
- Knowledge of engineering best practices including mechanical tolerancing and documentation, software development methodologies, and electrical hardware design.
- Exceptional leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- International travel when appropriate
