The Cultivation Technician will be responsible for assisting in cannabis plant management and maintenance. We are looking for an individual who wants to be a part of a multifaceted crew and comfortable with adapting. This role will be integral to the development of quality products and responsibilities will be tailored to the workflow and style of the greenhouse.
Role/ Key Responsibilities
- Under the close supervision of the Greenhouse Manager, the Cultivation Technicians assist their team with all elements of cultivation
- This position fosters constant and progressive plant growth by utilizing standard methods, processes, and techniques carried out as part of daily regular activities during all life phases of the plants, from Veg to Flower
- Hard workers will thrive in this fast-paced workplace with their team
- Perform work in conditions with fluctuating humidity and temperature, both indoors and out
- Move quickly throughout the facility and field
- Transplant clones and veg plants
- Monitor and modify irrigation daily to ensure plant health
- Maintain organized Metrc processes to ensure compliance with CRA & company standards
- Train, defoliate, and manicure plants while maintaining accurate and compliant waste procedures
- Prep vegetative facility, greenhouses, and field for nutrients, irrigation, covers, plants, trellis and Metrc tags
- Transfer plants from propagation to veg and veg to flower
- Perform daily/routine plant maintenance at various stages of the vegetative and flower cycles to ensure successful and bountiful harvests
- Install trellis netting/staking to all flowering plants
- Defoliate, and prepare plants for harvest, drying and curing stages of the process
- Thoroughly clean all work areas involved daily, e.g., sweeping, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces and common spaces
- Assist in production

- Must be Trustworthy, Reliable, Hardworking, and have a Sense of Urgency
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
- Agricultural Experience Preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age (state requirement)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
