What are the responsibilities and job description for the Future Opening: Early Intervention Specialist position at Inland Childrens Therapy?
The role of the specialized instructor is to enhance each family’s ability to support their child’s overall development and learning. The specialized instructor designs and implements developmentally appropriate intervention strategies necessary to assist the child in reaching his/her full potential in all areas of development (fine motor, gross motor, cognitive development, language and speech development, social development, and self-help development).
Specialized instructor must possess an Associates Degree in Early Childhood related field or a Bachelors Degree in child development, education or related field. Specialized instructors must also have at least 1 year experience in working with young children with developmental delay and/or special needs. Infant First Aid and CPR certification, and TB clearance and willingness to have a background check.
