Job Title: Development Services Coordinator
Reports to: CFO/COO
What You Will Do:
The Development Services Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the real estate development team and coordinating various activities across the project lifecycle. The position is responsible for facilitating communication, maintaining schedules, organizing project documentation, and supporting various aspects of project planning, permitting, budgeting, and community engagement. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for real estate development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination and Support:Support Developers in maintaining timelines, tracking project milestones, tracking budgets, documenting changes, reporting financial summaries and coordinating deliverables.
- Collaborate in preparing and submitting proposals in response to RFPs/RFQs.
- Act as a point of contact for internal teams and provide general administrative support for all real estate actions, including document collection, file organization, and file maintenance of all transactions and decisions.
- Documentation and Compliance:Organize, manage, and maintain project documentation, including permits, contracts, and schedules, ensuring all required documentation is up-to-date, compliant and accessible.
- Assist in due diligence activities by preparing reports and collecting data on regulatory, environmental, and property constraints.
- Assist Developer/Owner with construction oversight and documentation (i.e. special inspections, RFIs, change orders)
- Community and Stakeholder Engagement:Coordinate community outreach efforts, including communication with local government, neighborhood associations, and community groups.
- Schedule and prepare agendas for project meetings, tracking action items.
- Market and Project Research:Conduct research and compile data on target markets, market trends, zoning regulations, and competitor projects.
- Summarize research findings to support strategic project planning and decision-making.
- Marketing Support:Support the marketing team by preparing marketing collateral, press releases and newsletters, managing LinkedIn and working with the team on website updates.
- Coordinate project-specific broker open houses, groundbreaking ceremonies, marketing materials, and award submittals.
- Investor Relations Support:Assist the CFO in preparing investor relations materials, ensuring timely distribution of relevant information and scheduling meetings.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience:Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, construction management, urban planning, or a related field or equivalent experience and knowledge.
- Three to five years’ related experience in real estate development, construction administration, or the brokerage business.
- Good understanding of the construction industry or commercial/multifamily real estate.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize time and responsibilities and work independently as well as collaboratively within the team
- Familiarity with real estate development processes, permitting, and local government regulations

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
