Description:
The Inland Empire 66ers, Class-A Advanced affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels and a member of Diamond Baseball Holdings, are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive in Partnership Sales to join our team. This role will focus on driving new business partnerships and assisting in the activation of corporate partnerships for both our team sponsors and MiLB (Minor League Baseball) partners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, exceptional sales skills, and a strong ability to cultivate relationships with local and national brands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent the organization with the utmost professionalism in the community
- Generate new business by prospecting, cold calling, appointments, stadium tours, and attending networking/community events
- Negotiate and finalize partnership contracts, ensuring alignment with client goals and the 66ers' brand.
- Assist in the activation and execution of partnership campaigns for both team sponsors and MiLB partners.
- Attend and support various 66ers events, games, and community activities to help grow a strong relationship with partners.
- Regularly report on partnership performance, providing updates and insights to management and clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, events, operations) to ensure smooth execution of partnership activations, including signage, promotions, events, and digital integration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of one (1) to two (2) year of related experience, with a track record of exceeding sales goals
- Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and building quality relationships, preferably within the sports industry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to build and maintain long-lasting client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software (Dynamics experience a plus).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
