Job Summary
The Analyst II, Regulatory Affairs position is a key role in the Compliance Department at IEHP. We are seeking an individual with experience in health care, managed care plans, and regulatory agencies to perform complex and difficult regulatory activities.
This role ensures that plan operations, processes, procedures, policies, etc., are in compliance with regulatory agencies such as Covered California, CMS, DHCS, and DMHC. The team member will collaborate with inter-departments to meet member needs while building strong peer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure plan operations are in compliance with regulatory agencies
- Collaborate with inter-departments to meet member needs
- Build strong peer relationships
- Support the Quality Program goals of IEHP, including HEDIS, CAHPS, and NCQA Accreditation
Requirements
- Two (2) years of experience with managed care or other relevant industry experience
- Experience interacting with regulatory agencies
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required
- Valid California Driver's license and valid automobile insurance
- Knowledge of Principles and practices of managed care
- Possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Clearly and effectively convey project objectives
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills; verbal and written
- Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access
