We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department nurse to join our team at Inland Hospital in Waterville, Maine. This 48-bed community hospital provides high-quality care to patients of all ages without a trauma designation.
Job Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department is required, with 2 years preferred.
- Previous charge experience is highly valued.
Work Schedule:
The ideal candidate will participate in a weekend rotation every other week. Requests for time off (RTO) can be approved up to 7 days but must include extending their contract for an additional full week off. At least one holiday per year will be expected based on their assigned rotation.Unit-Specific Information:
Patient ratios are 1:4 for registered nurses and 1:10 for technicians during both shifts. Employees will not be floated between units unless absolutely necessary. Additionally,Additional Details:
