What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driveline Technician - Entry level position at Inland Truck Parts & Service?
Inland Truck Parts & Service is looking for an entry-level Driveline Technician at our Sioux City, Iowa location.
We will train the right candidate and provide all required tools. This is an entry level position that would be great for anyone who is mechanically inclined, loves working with their hands, has experience with various hand tools, and would enjoy learning more about what transfers torque from a transmission to the drive wheels when a vehicle is in motion.
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00-5:00. NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS.
Our facilities are updated, clean, and stocked with everything you’ll need. We are looking for an individual who is dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
While experience isn’t necessary, we would love to speak with you if you:
- Have prior experience in any of the following: micrometer, calipers, hydraulic press, rotary grinder, MIG welder, or acetylene torch
- Would enjoy operating equipment such as: forklift, hand air tools, and an overhead crane
- Have mechanical aptitude / knowledge
- Have a desire to do the job right without taking shortcuts

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain alert and attentive to job duties. You must be able to bend, stoop, twist, carry, push, pull, reach & lift overhead, and go up/down steps.
