What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales - Non Commissioned position at Inland Truck Parts & Service?
Inland Truck Parts & Service is currently looking for an experienced Truck Parts Salesperson to join us at our Olathe, Kansas location.
Work schedule: Monday - Friday. This is not a commissioned position. Your assigned territory would be one that allows you to be home every night, no overnight travel required. A company vehicle is provided. Current knowledge of heavy duty parts is strongly preferred. Salary: Minimum starting $52,000 a year, but experience in truck parts would increase the starting salary. Must have clean driving record and be able to pass a drug test.
Most importantly, we are looking for an individual who is friendly, dependable, self-motivated, willing to learn, and able to provide excellent customer service. We pride ourselves on the level of customer support we provide to our customers, so we are searching for someone who can share that passion.
This is a non-commissioned position.
Responsibilities
- Locate new accounts
- Deliver products to existing accounts
- Pickup cores
- Assist in collecting A/R's
- Operate forklift
- Create & Meet time schedules for accounts
- Coordinate customer needs with management
- Make calls, ask for orders
- Attend vendor meetings when possible
- Assist in inventory ( bi-annual)
- Assist in answering phone when needed
- Assist at the counter when needed
- Assist in pulling and billing orders
- Maintain assigned vehicle (keep clean & serviced)
- Sell Parts
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (we will pull your DMV report)
- At least 3 years of experience/familiarity with heavy duty parts
- Professional appearance
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and bend, stoop, twist, carry, push, pull, reach & lift overhead, and go up/down steps
- Ability to pass a drug screen and physical exam
Salary : $52,000
