Job Overview:
Inlet Coastal Resort, a caring and compassionate assisted living community, is seeking a dedicated LPN Floor Nurse to join our team. As an LPN Floor Nurse, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality healthcare to our residents, ensuring they are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. You will work directly with our residents and collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care in a safe and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Care: Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, dressing changes, and managing chronic conditions under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Director.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care, including medication administration, treatment plans, and progress notes. Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and facility standards.
- Resident Assessment: Conduct routine health assessments, including physical exams, identifying changes in condition, and reporting significant findings to the RN or physician.
- Collaboration: Work with the interdisciplinary team (physicians, RNs, caregivers, and management) to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for each resident.
- Patient Advocacy: Advocate for residents' needs, ensuring they receive the proper level of care, comfort, and dignity. Respond to residents' concerns and address them promptly.
- Compliance: Follow all regulatory guidelines, including infection control, medication administration, and safety protocols, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Current LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in good standing with the State of [State Name].
- Experience: Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or skilled nursing environments preferred, but not required.
