What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales position at Inline Electric Supply Company, Inc?
An Inside Salesman is responsible for identifying and pricing various customer bills of materials. The Inside Salesman should also research delivery dates or tracking details for items that are backordered or behind from vendors. No history of drug or alcohol abuse is allowed. This position will be back up counter sales as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and price various customer bills of materials
- Manage billing
- Oversee proper delivery and execution of customer job materials
- Coordinate deliveries or pick-up times
- Research delivery dates or tracking details for items that are backordered or behind from vendors
- Troubleshoot and identify customers’ needs
- Perform all other duties as assigned by upper management or leadership team

Education and Experience:
- 6 years of experience in the electrical industry (experience as an electrician or experience in electrical distribution) or 4 year college degree
- No history of drug or alcohol abuse
- Valid driver’s license with approved motor vehicle report
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 35 lbs. or more
- Ability to speak and listen clearly and effectively
