What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler / Driver position at Inline Electric Supply Company, Inc?
Job Summary:
A Material Handler/Delivery Driver is responsible for coordinating and processing transfer shipments while helping with delivery duties. A Material Handler/Delivery Driver should have a clean, safe driving record, and they must be able to multitask. A valid driver’s license with an approved clean driver vehicle report is requires and no history of drug or alcohol abuse is allowed.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfill transfer orders from other branches and keep track of materials and inventory
- Collect, verify, load, and deliver completed packing slips to customers in a timely manner
- Stock materials as needed per required procedures
- Assist with cycle counts
- Properly maintain all return materials and process associated paperwork per defined procedures
- Pull shipping tickets
- Perform daily housekeeping practices for assigned work areas
- Assist in all warehouse delivery duties on an as-needed basis
- Adhere to safety rules as provided in the Inline Electric Supply Safety Handbook
- Perform all other duties as assigned by department manager or leadership team

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with approved clean driver vehicle report
- Forklift certification is preferred but not required
- No history of drug or alcohol abuse
- Provide current health card
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift push, pull, and carry 50 lbs. or more
- Ability to climb, crouch, and grasp
- Ability to listen and speak clearly
