Job Summary:
The Showroom Sales Associate is responsible for providing professional and courteous sales and interior design services for all showroom customers. A Showroom Sales Associate should have great customer service skills and be proactive on the job. They should also be able to work in both fast-paced and methodical environments.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist all customers during and after the sales process in an efficient and effective manner
- Accurately conduct all sales transactions at the counter and record orders into the computer system
- Ensure basic housekeeping is done to keep the showroom in a clean and professional manner
- Stay current with product knowledge, pricing, manufacture websites, promotions, trends and pertinent industry updates
- Inform showroom managers immediately of all customer opportunities and/or developing issues
- Ensure accurate information and paperwork is shared promptly with warehouse personal in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain open communication between other Inline Electric Supply branches to maximize inventory check and stock transfer requests
- Able to travel occasionally to walk through houses and ensure lighting is correct
- Adhere to safety rules as provided in the Inline Electric Supply Company Safety Handbook
- Preform all other duties as assigned by department manager or leadership team

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Valid driver’s license with approved clean driver vehicle report
