Summary
A Transfer Driver is responsible for coordinating and processing transfer shipments between the Inline Electric Supply branches. While driving a transfer truck, the Transfer Truck Driver employee should have a clean driving record and should follow all regulations as described in the Inline Electric Supply Safety Handbook. A Transfer Truck Driver should be able to multitask, work independently, and possess time-management skills and maintain commitment to completing tasks efficiently and error-free. The work environment is stable and structured, with step-by-step training and supportive coaching from management and peers. Success in this role is measured by consistency, adherence to delivery schedules, and compliance with regulations. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a methodical work setting and take pride in providing reliable service while developing expertise in their role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport materials between branches, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Load and unload transfer shipments according to scheduled times, verifying accuracy before departure.
- Track inventory and maintain accurate records of delivered and received materials.
- Process and stage all tagged materials for designated locations, ensuring proper documentation.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to management.
- Conduct cycle counts in assigned areas to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and assigned work areas.
- Assist with warehouse duties, including material handling and stocking, as needed.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws while operating a company vehicle.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the leadership team or senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- High level of accountability and reliability in meeting schedules.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
- No history of drug or alcohol abuse.
- Must provide a current health card.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to climb, crouch, and grasp materials as needed.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to listen and speak clearly.
