Hinds-Bock and Inline Filling Systems are both leaders in the industrial food processing and packaging equipment industries. Hinds-Bock specializes in industrial-grade bakery and food processing equipment, with a legacy dating back to 1962 when the Philip Bock Corporation pioneered air-powered piston filler technology. Inline Filling Systems designs and manufactures world-class liquid filling machines for a variety of industries, providing turnkey packaging solutions in over 50 countries. Both companies operate under the Middleby Corporation, a global leader in foodservice and processing equipment.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer I to join our team in Palmetto, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in procurement and supply chain management within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The Buyer will be responsible for processing purchase orders, maintaining system data integrity, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely deliveries. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills to support operations and maintain supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process purchase order confirmations to ensure accurate system data.
• Update vendor purchase order due dates and follow up on missing confirmations.
• Contact vendors to resolve past-due orders and coordinate delivery timelines.
• Monitor and update price information, notifying the Purchasing Manager of significant changes.
• Assist in purchasing supply and maintenance items for operations.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between receipts and invoices.
• Communicate with operations regarding delays or supply issues that could impact production schedules.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.
• Basic understanding of purchasing or supply chain principles is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.
