Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to appropriate personnel.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence while respecting resident rights.
- Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed care plans.
Skills
- Experience in caregiving, particularly with seniors or individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of meal preparation .
- Understanding of resident rights and the importance of maintaining client dignity and privacy.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
