The Sales Development Representative is dedicated to enabling and optimizing sales processes, enhancing team productivity, and aligning sales initiatives with organizational objectives. This role supports sales training, process improvement, technology management, and customer engagement to drive revenue growth and operational excellence.
Primary Accountabilities:
Technical (40%)
- Support the Sales Operations teams with incoming and/or outgoing lead qualification to hand off to Client Development Representatives
- Conduct credit research and prepare reporting packages
- Prepare business reviews
- Perform research on returns variances and provide appropriate findings to Regional Managers and/or Client Development Representatives
- Work with Marketing on competitor analysis and creation of materials for the sales team
- Collect and maintain market share data and analysis
- Support sales and pipeline forecasting processes
Operational (40%)
- Support field sales team with data inconsistencies, ensuring quality assurance from appropriate teams (i.e., Salesforce and Rx Returns processing facilities).
- Identify inefficiencies in sales workflows and recommend standardized, scalable processes to improve productivity and consistency.
- Support the implementation of new sales enablement tools, such as white space insights and lookup tools, to empower the field team.
- Collaborate with Finance to grow client adoption of ACH Direct Deposit credit payments, which impacts revenue predictability and operational efficiency.
- Support the management of sales team requests (e.g., Strategic Enhancement (STR) requests).
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve shipping errors, narcotics cage issues, and other customer-facing challenges, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Serve as a liaison to teams such as the Reconciliation Team, Fleet Management Team, and Regulatory Team to address operational challenges.
- Coordinate with processing, shipping, and inventory teams to resolve supply chain and inventory-related issues, including Rx EZ Box, problem boxes, and ATF issues.
Administrative (20%)
- Assist Regional Managers with client special ad hoc report needs (monthly, quarterly)
- Demonstrable communication skills, including client communication
- Support the sales operations teams by completing and managing sales administration.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) across all sales teams
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing
- Minimum of 6 months work or internship experience in sales, sales support or customer service; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the job responsibilities
- Intermediate experience in all Microsoft and Google product suites
- Salesforce or other CRM- based tool experience, a plus
- Ability to collaborate across diverse functions and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or related industries is a plus.
