Overview :
As the Caf Manager you are responsible for supervising and coordinating all Caf Amenities at the Inn at Bay Harbor.
We are looking for a Caf Manager to organize daily operations and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. To be successful in this role you should have work experience with various roles in coffee shops utilizing an espresso machine. Also, you will manage all amenities at the Inn at Bay Harbor. This will include collaborating with Events, Lodging, Spa, and some Catering.
Responsibilities :
Caf Manager responsibilities include
- Scheduling shifts for baristas and staff.
- Monitoring daily expenses, revenues, and inventory.
- Coordinate with vendors and order supplies such as food and retail merchandise, as needed.
- Manage all day-today operations of the Caf.
- Hire and onboard all Caf Team .
- Train employees on drinks preparations and proper use of coffee equipment.
- Maintain updated records of daily, weekly, and monthly revenues and expenses.
- Add new retail items based on seasonality and consumer trends.
- Advise staff on the best ways to resolve concerns with guests and deliver excellent customer service.
- Ensure all Caf areas are clear and tidy.
- Nurture friendly relationships to increase loyalty and boost our reputation.
- Create daily specials.
- Have an aptitude for mixology and creating a diverse / unique coffee menu that changes seasonally.
- Execute gift bags for guests upon arrival or for special occasions.
- Contracting new local vendors and artisans.
- Create attractive displays through effectively merchandising product on sales floor.
- Manage shop integrity, business traffic, and care of product.
- Execute inventory with precision and time management.
- Prepare, cook, and serve Caf and other amentites specific items.
- Lead a team to provide Tea Service Daily
Qualifications :
Hands-on experience with professional espresso machines; sales skills, retail sales experience, merchandising skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team; High school diploma; Additional certification (e.g. in Business Administration or Hospitality) is a plus.
