Overview
The Server is a full or part-time, seasonal position. Responsibilities are to ensure that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality guest service. Servers work in the front of the business taking orders, serving food and drinks, and assisting guests with all other needs. All servers must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Takes initiative to get any and all jobs completed accurately and proficiently and is someone who doesn't understand the term "not my job."

Country Club: Located near our golf courses, this is a great place to grab lunch or a drink after the golf game

Essential Job Functions (including but not limited to,):
- Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you are there to personally take care of them.
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
- Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
- Upsell food and beverage items by using suggestive selling techniques.
- Answer questions regarding regions where food products come from, and how food is prepared.
- Describe in detail tastes and textures.
- Answer questions about our food, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests. enter orders in our point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter.
- Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
- Maintain clean service areas.
- Monitor and observe guest's dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges, or make change (if applicable).
- Assist fellow servers as situations arise as needed.
- Assist server assistant with clearing and resetting tables as needed.
- Other non-essential duties may be assigned.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by your manager
Required Qualifications (knowledge, skills, certifications, education, etc):
- Must possess ServSafe certification (or acquire it upon hire)
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of POS systems helpful
- Prior serving experience helpful but not necessary
