Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and dependable Housekeeper who loves to clean to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our guests and operational support for the Team. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms assigned in an efficient manner
- Ensure all areas of the guest rooms are clean and well-maintained in compliance with brand standards
-Respond to guest requests in an efficient and timely manner
- Follow established hotel procedures
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and storage closets keeping work areas clean and stocked
- Be the runner for Housekeeping Team members; collecting dirty linen, stocking linen closets, supporting HK team members as needed
- Tend to Pool area; cleaning rest room, stocking pool towels, cleaning furniture as assigned ( in season)
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a positive guest experience
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols
Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping roles preferred but not required
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and practices
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Skills:
- Cleanliness: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel
- Custodial: Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
- Hospitality: Provide excellent customer service to guests
- Hotel: Understand the unique needs and expectations of hotel guests
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver stairs frequently
