Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all banquet activities, including setup, service, and breakdown.
- Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high level of service.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create menus that meet client specifications and dietary needs.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate reporting of financial transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within food service management.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Utilize POS systems effectively, including Aloha POS, for order processing and inventory management.
Experience
- Proven experience in food service management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong supervisory skills with experience in managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of banquet operations, event planning, and customer service excellence.
- Experience with POS systems is preferred; Aloha POS knowledge is a plus.
- Background in the food industry is essential; previous roles as an assistant manager or similar positions are advantageous.
