Employer:
The Inn at Taughannock Falls, outside of Ithaca, NY, is a luxury boutique hotel, restaurant, and event center. Our new Event Center, Enchantment, is operating a full and exciting calendar this year. This stunning space will be able to hold 300 guests for seated dinner and up to 500 guests for cocktail reception style events. This venue is the only one of its kind in the region, featuring a 100’ x 60’ sailcloth tent, customizable lighting package, multiple fire features including a two-story dry stack, stone fireplace, and an outdoor plating kitchen.
Schedule:
20-25 hours per week of bookkeeping to assist our accounting manager. As the business has grown and succeeded our needs have grown and we're expanding the accounting team to help up keep up with busy weekly duties. Potential for more hours during busier periods if wanted.
Responsibilities:
Help recording and maintaining the company's daily financial transactions. Also prepare reports for the managers and trial balances to assist the accounting manager. The bookkeeper's primary responsibility will be to assist payroll, collect debts, generate invoices, and make payments
