Avesta Housing is seeking a hard working, reliable and dedicated Cook to prepare and serve a wide variety of foods for regular and modified diets for residents of the Inn at Village Square.

Avesta Housing's Inn at Village Square is an assisted living facility for older adults who find it difficult to continue to live without assistance but who would like to continue to enjoy their independence in the comfort of a safe, secure, and friendly environment. What We're Looking For

The person who is ready for this opportunity will meet the following requirements:

• Knowledge of working with kitchen tools, preparing meals, and serving to a community

Requirements

• One year of cooking experience (preferably in a healthcare setting)
• Must be able to work independently as well as a part of a team, under the direction of the Food Services Supervisor
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work on evenings and weekends
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with people effectively

This is a full-time opportunity. This position pays $19.00 - $24.00 per hour, plus applicable shift differentials.
