What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Maintenance position at Inn at Wecoma?
We are looking for someone to join our maintenance department. The ideal candidate has experience maintaining hotel, apartment or public facilities and key systems by combining their hands-on skills with trusted contractor trades (as needed). An experienced contractor looking for reliable hours/schedule and a more predictable work routine would be a great fit.
Essential Skills/Experience - Drywall Repair, Painting, Minor Plumbing/Electrical, Key System Preventative Maintenance, Restaurant Equipment, Fire/Life/Safety, Landscape/Irrigation, etc.
Key to Success -
- Reliable and available to address emergency issues with the facility
- Team player and work well with other department heads and employees.
- Good communicator of issues/concerns to GM and others
- Capable of being "hands-on" 90% of the time with 10% being administrative tasks like finding replacement parts, recommending better solutions, etc.
- Available via text/phone off hours to guide others in how to address an urgent facility issue.
- Effective at preventative maintenance tasks to keep all aspects of the facility in excellent working condition and looking great for the guest experience.
- Professional with all guest and employee interactions.
