Groundskeeper

Position Summary: The grounds employee will maintain the grounds maintenance program aimed at providing an appealing and clean environment for all guests. With in this responsibility he or she will keep the property in a clean and appealing look in accordance to the direction of the Maintenance Manager/General Manager. The individual will keep pools up to State and City guidelines. The employee will maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times in accordance to the company standards.

Specific Duties:

· Will Clean Pools (Olympic, Baby and Rock)

· Will perform pool chemical checks daily and correct as needed by State and City Guidelines

· Will maintain all areas of recreation, playground, tennis court, patios, fields, pool areas, etc (as well as equipment)

· Will empty all exterior trash receptacle, and clean ashtrays

· Will maintain all pool gates and closures

· Will maintain all parking areas and sidewalks, for cleaning and repair or paint

· Will keep all ground equipment in good working order

· Complete all daily tasks as assigned by Maintenance Manager

· Obtain and use proper equipment for the various ground keeping activities

· Will notify Maintenance Manager/General Manager of any potential safety hazards on property

· May be required to work on special projects requiring night time hours

· Use all appropriate safety procedures for his or her self as well as for our guests

· Perform Preventive Maintenance duties when assigned by Maintenance Manager/General Manager

· Use appropriate checklist when performing P.M. Duties

Physical Requirements

· Lift 100 lbs

· Bend and stoop.

· Reach and work overhead.

· Must be able to perform duties on ladders, scaffolding, scissor lift, etc up heights more than 8ft in the air

· Walk or stand 4 or more hrs without break.

· Work outside in typical Hill Country weather

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
