Position Title : Slot Attendant

Reports To : Slot Floor Supervisor

Supervises : N / A

Summary of Position

Slot Floor Attendant is responsible for the day-to-day non-technical operations of the slot machines on the slot floor in their assigned area. Ensures all customers are attended to promptly and courteously in their assigned slot section.

  • Required to work all Marketing Special Events and Concerts.

  • Reports all guest complaints and compliments to Supervisor or Manager.
  • Reports all situations to Supervisor or Manager where resort grounds or equipment do not meet IMGR&C standards.

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are subject to change at management's discretion :
  • Performs slot machine transactions.
  • Operates hand held commination device.
  • Completes requires IRS forms to document withholdings on gambling winnings, when necessary.
  • Maintains an impressed bank to make change for quests on casino floor.
  • Acts as a Casino floor host, assisting customers and explaining machines and rules, when appropriate.
  • Helps clean slot areas and machines in their assigned section.
  • Maintains quality level of customer service at all times.
  • Must meet performance standards according to IMGR&C Attendance Policy.
  • Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, and to the casino Internal Control Structure.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Education and / or Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED). Six months to one year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license. Mescalero Apache Tribal preference; bicultural experience preferred.

    While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear. Must be able to use hand held communications devices. The team member must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. The team member must be able to stand for several hours.

    The noise level in the work environment is loud. The team member will be exposed to a second-hand smoke-filled environment.
