Position: Cart Barn Attendant/Guest Services
Department: Golf Shop
Reports To: Head Golf Professional, Pro Shop Manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt, Part-time/Full-time, Seasonal
Summary of Position
The Cart Barn Attendant will provide outstanding customer service, directions to guests around the golf course grounds, tournament assistance, rental club and golf cart rental procedures as well as the availability and cleanliness of rental carts, daily maintenance of the entire golf cart fleet, and general janitorial duties around the club house; which includes trash removal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend to golf cart fleet, cart barn and driving range.
- Ensure carts are clean and charged after each use.
- Stage golf carts; includes bringing carts to/from cart barns.
- Return carts to cart barn at the end of the day.
- Maintain clean work area, including upper and lower cart barns.
- Check driving range for organization and pick range balls.
- Wash range balls and stack of pyramids
- Issuing and checking back in of rental clubs
- Clean golf clubs for rentals after each use.
- Removal of all trash daily
- Assisting guests with clubs to and from carts
Requirements (Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work harmoniously with guests and fellow employees
- Ability to work independently or with a team.
- Ability to follow verbal and or written instructions
- Be familiar with the company’s handbook/Policy.
- Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules and regulations
- Working knowledge of the rules of golf
- Have and maintain a valid drivers’ license.
- Present a positive and professional image.
- Reliable and predictable attendance.
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
- Reporting of all cash tips received
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk and stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to bend and twist at the waist on a regular basis.
- Must be able to reach at, above and below shoulder height.
- Must be able to grasp, push, pull, carry and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and greater weights on an occasional basis.
- Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
- Must possess sufficient motor skills to operate carts and other equipment as required.
