JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Revenue Auditor Department: Accounting
Supervisor: Revenue Audit Supervisor
Summary
The Revenue Auditor audits Casino generated source documents and summary sheets from the table games, slots, card games, cage and food and beverage areas as described in this ICS and the IMGR&C/ Casino Apache Travel Center policies and procedures manual. Auditors also prepare statistical reports that are used by Casino management to detect errors, detect fraud, and make business decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reconciles and recaps the revenue obtained from Casino Operations
- Reviews cage and vault paperwork, hard/soft count sheets, Oasis Reports, Master Games Reports, Card Games paperwork, as well as paperwork from other Casino revenue centers such as Food and Beverage, in order to verify accuracy and to ensure proper investigation of variances
- Prepare statistical reports that are used by Casino management to detect errors, detect fraud, and make business decisions
- Safe guard all Revenue related documents, includes all paperwork in packet, tickets from soft count and any envelopes that contain paperwork.
- Completes all daily revenue audit steps, as indicated on the revenue auditors’ daily checklists
- Identifies statistical variances which require an explanation and follow-up and follows up to ensure that these explanations are received back and that an appropriate resolution is reached
- Assists independent auditors and internal auditors, as required

- Count rooms (when escorted by security)

Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED): or six months to one year job related experience.
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be self motivated and work well with others
- Advance Knowledge in Microsoft Office, Excel work, Intermediate on computer skills, 10-key, fax, copiers.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. or more
