Position Title : Executive Casino Host
Reports To : Executive Player Development Manager
Supervises : Casino Hosts / Jr. Casino Hosts
Summary of Position :
The Executive Casino Host oversees the Host Department and acts as the liaison between VIP services and all operating departments. This role is dedicated to developing and retaining the patronage of the Resort’s top gaming customers. In collaboration with the Executive Player Development Manager, the Executive Casino Host assigns approximately 250-350 accounts to each Casino Host, aiming to maximize profitability, secure repeat visitation, and reduce attrition due to competition or guest dissatisfaction. The role involves maintaining a productive casino host program to actively build and sustain a robust player rewards program. Other duties as assigned for the success of the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Maintain meaningful business relationships with approximately 350 assigned players
Collaborate with the Marketing Analyst Manager, Executive Player Development Manager, and Director of Marketing in the post forma process.
Identify potential new members for development into high-end
Stay current on all upcoming special events, promotions, and entertainment, and ensure the Host team does the same.
Balance floor time with telemarketing and written correspondence
Manage the responsible issuance of Player Rewards and ensure adherence to
Secure future player trips through booking participation in special events and promotions, and recognize special occasions important to assigned accounts.
Handle customer complaints and discrepancies efficiently and
Telemarket to active and inactive guests to develop brand loyalty and
Assist in developing host goals, special events, and marketing
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electronic gaming machines, player tracking systems, promotions, events, entertainment, and general property information.
Safeguard the confidentiality of departmental and company
Prospect new guests through active players and provide information on player
Make phone calls and send emails and letters to guests regarding events, promotions, or
Adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, and the casino Internal Control Structure.
Perform any other duties necessary for the success of the Enterprise, including working in other areas or departments when necessary.
Use the Player Tracking System to manage and record patron information to support regular contact and profit enhancement efforts.
Work the casino floor and utilize OPTX to enroll new patrons in the Apache Spirit Club and collect
Maintain constant communication with hotel, F&B, Marketing, TG, and slot operations personnel to enhance guest service.
Maximize the profitability of each guest assigned to the Casino
Assist in promoting and executing special events and
Assist customers with questions and requests regarding games, reservations, and
Resolve customer issues
Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization and with external guests.
Have knowledge of ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures related to the Host

Increase gaming revenues through the development of a targeted customer
Generate loyalty and revenue by building personal relationships with

Work with the Executive Player Development Manager to manage Host performance and hold department personnel accountable for achieving guest satisfaction and revenue growth
Meet individually and as a department with Hosts and the Executive Player Development Manager, and keep the Director of Marketing informed of relevant developments.
Complete periodic Performance

Ensure all department personnel are trained on necessary

Education and / or Experience Requirements :
Four-year college degree in Hospitality or related field
High school diploma or GED required, or 10 years of job-related experience, with three years as an executive or lead host.
Previous experience with a structured casino host program (commission-based structure)
Fluency in both Spanish and English
Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming
Mescalero Apache Tribal preference and bicultural experience
Prior supervisory experience in a casino Player's Club or Host Department
Perform duties in compliance with local laws and gaming
