A beautiful boutique hotel, the Inn on Fifth located in the heart of Naples, boasts 87 guest rooms, 32 club suites, a spa, a fitness center, and a beautiful pool. Join the fantastic Housekeeping Team as a Houseperson, and work with a great team that is rooted in family and provides an exceptional experience for our guests.

The Houseperson will be responsible for supporting the housekeeping team to ensure the guest rooms and public areas meet the Company’s standard of excellence. As the Houseperson, you will respond to guest requests in a timely manner consistent Noble House Hotel or Resort standards.

What you would be responsible for...

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times; resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
• Ensure security of any assigned keys.
• Review assigned areas and complete general removal of any trash or debris.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of closets; remove trash, wipe down shelves/counters; sweep and wax floor; remove non-floor closet items and transport to proper storage areas.
• Ensure that nothing is stored in the stairwells or in front of egresses consistent with fire and safety requirements.
• Transport any food and beverage trays/items in public areas to service areas.
• Check under furniture for debris and remove if present; reposition furniture to correct floor plan.
• Inspect condition of all furniture for tears, rips and stains and report damages to Supervisor. Wipe down furniture and remove any dust or debris from upholstery including crevices and under cushions.
• Dust pictures, frames, mirrors, fire extinguisher boxes, exit signs, air vents.
• Clean all lamps, light fixtures and light switches, and verify they are in good working order.
• Remove dust, spots and smears from windows, frames, and ledges; wash windows as assigned.
• Inspect condition of planters and plants; remove debris, polish planters.
• Inspect doors and door frames and remove any dirt or smudges.
• Remove trash; debris and cobwebs from balconies/patios.
• Remove soil, dirt, soap build-up and hair from public and employee bathroom mirrors, vanities, sinks, toilets/urinals, shower walls, shower curtains and floors.
• Sweep and clean pool deck.
• Remove soiled towels from pool area and return them to Laundry; replace with clean towels.
• Report any damages/deficiencies using the Alice Software.
• Other duties as assigned.
