Job description
The basic function of the Front Desk Receptionist is to assist with the front of operations. This position does require the incumbent to interact and function cooperatively with Managers, Kennel Managers, Pet Staff, Supervisors, Pet Groomers, General managers and the public, on a daily basis.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following ( Other duties may be assigned.):
1. Check in/out boarders, daycare, and grooms.
2. Answer the phone and making appointments.
3. Accept cash and count change.
4. Data inputting.
5. Answer questions about fees and policies.
6. Give tours of INN The DogHouse.
7. Call Veterinary clinics for vaccination information.
8. Call clients to remind about appointments.
9. Helping pet owners with their pets.
10. Performs daily work as listed on Daily Work Sheet, without supervision.
11. Performs any work directed by management not listed on Daily/Monthly Work Sheets, which would be necessary for the benefit of the business and care of pets or grooming animals.
12. Reporting animal abnormalities to management.
