Marketing Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our marketing team as a Marketing Assistant. This role offers hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing within the clean beauty industry. The successful candidate will assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support sales growth.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including site, email, influencer partnerships, PR and events.
• Assist in the development and execution of blog posts, emails, web content, social media and other marketing materials, adhering to brand guidelines and timing.
• Support the planning and execution of promotional events, product launches and partnerships, ensuring alignment with brand objectives, guidelines and timing.
• Assist in managing product sends, communicating deadlines and managing tracking with influencers, brand ambassadors, and other external partners to amplify brand reach and engagement.
• Contribute to the development and execution of marketing collateral, including product packaging, signage, and promotional materials, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand objectives, guidelines and timing.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive insights, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Serve as key point of contact with the warehouse for fulfillment needs.
• Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed, including organizing files, scheduling meetings, and maintaining marketing databases.
• Compile key performance metrics for marketing initiatives, providing regular reports to inform decision-making and optimization as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Passion for clean beauty and sustainability, with a strong desire to contribute to positive change in the beauty industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive content.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and analytics. Shopify and Klayvio a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Creative thinker with a proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Prior experience in marketing, advertising, or related fields is a plus, but not required
• Experience working in a small but growing company environment is strongly preferred
• Other duties as assigned.

This is a regular, hourly, full-time, in-office position located at our headquarters in Concord, California.

Target Salary Based on Experience

The standard range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00 per hour.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and competitive bonus achievement. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits.
