What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at InnerSpace?
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for assisting in maximizing plant performance through preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, facility improvements and tooling/ fixturing. The focus of this job centers around producing timely results that are high quality and accurate. The Maintenance Technician will also include the coordination of vendors such as electricians, grounds maintenance, fire suppression and any other needs to keep the plant running is a safe and efficient manner.
Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance and repair on equipment, document and update schedule as necessary.
- Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.
- Ensure building, grounds and equipment are properly maintained for the comfort, safety and convenience of persons served. Provide recommendation to enhance the quality of services provided.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop
- Maintain the company housekeeping standards inside and outside the building.
- Maintain a safe work area. This includes organization and cleanliness of the maintenance room.
- Report safety to the appropriate management team member.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 plus years of maintenance experience in a Manufacturing environment.
- Have general knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Machining skills such as mill and lathe operation
- Pneumatic and control logic knowledge is a plus
